CONGRATULATIONS to (9) of our NI Rec youths! You saw them on our fields this past fall and we look forward to having them back for the fall 2020 NIRD Soccer season! From the field to the classroom and onto certified IFAB soccer Referees!! They have become Grassroots Referee Certified!! They are now eligible to referee games in youth and adult grassroots leagues anywhere in the country. Joe Hileman, thanks for answering the call and leading our youth into what will undoubtedly be a enriching journey! A special thanks to Pizza Haven Too for providing pizzas, chips and drinks during their 4 hours of computer training. Dream it!  Do it!

RecDesk offers residents a portal through which to find out about and register for a variety of local activities such as youth sports, children’s activities, senior activities, movies, and more.

“This program will help people to better navigate through the opportunities available and connect with the activities they seek. There is even a mobile application that will allow users to access RecDesk from a smart phone. This virtual community center  provides one place for information about all local activities.”

For certain activities, such as our youth sports programs, registration can be completed directly through RecDesk and soon payments will be accepted through the site. Other activities are listed with dates, times and information on how to register.

The RecDesk site is in the initial phases of development. Community members are encouraged to visit the site, explore the programs available and check back often for updates to the master calendar. Also, by creating a profile for family members, residents can easily register for certain programs through RecDesk.
