New Ipswich Mourns Passing of Former Highway Department Employee

The New Ipswich Highway Department is deeply saddened to hear the passing of David Michaud a former employee of the New Ipswich Highway Department. Our prayers and condolences to the family and all his loved ones.

It is with deep sadness that the Brookline Fire Department announces the death of Firefighter David Michaud, who passed away on March 6, 2026, after a battle with cancer.

Firefighter Michaud joined the Brookline Fire Department in October 2017 and proudly served our community for nine years. He also served with the Mason Fire Department and worked for the Brookline Department of Public Works.

We extend our deepest condolences to Dave’s family, friends, and fellow firefighters. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
