Attention the Town no longer requires fireworks permits

Good news, fireworks permits are no longer required. The Board of Selectmen, Fire and Police chiefs have agreed to rescind the ordinance.

We do suggest you check with the fire department to ensure we are not in a high fire status (you can also drive by fire station and check the board) and give the police a courtesy call especially if doing a large display to make them aware.   

If your neighbors have animals, it's also good practice to make them aware ahead of time to prepare the animals.
